Not very accurate I'm afraid. No way there has only been two crimes on Van Buren between downtown and 52nd St or one crime on McDowell along the same stretch in the past 2 months. It's an interesting start, but needs more data.

This is actually very accurate. Downtown Phoenix is one of the safest areas of the city. I live in the Roosevelt Historic District downtown and we have not had a murder in this area...well, I couldn't find the last date of a murder in Roosevelt. I believe downtown Phoenix had 2 murders last year and the same number the year before. Most crimes in Phoenix happen in Maryvale (West of i-17, south to Buckeye, east of 59th ave and North to Camelback).

While I can't say with certainty, it seems like it's probably not too accurate to me.

I looked at Seattle and it shows only 10 crimes committed in the last 2 months, whereas other sources I've looked at show statistics MUCH different. Seattle is a safe city - but not THAT crime-free.

Keep in mind that the site is a Beta - so it's possible their data is only a partial sample.

Not very accurate. I researched it against known shootings and murders...
