Default Ground broken for memorial at site of copter crash

Construction will soon be under way for a memorial to honor four newsmen killed in July when their helicopters collided above Steele Indian School Park in central Phoenix.

Family, friends and colleagues of Scott Bowerbank and Jim Cox of Channel 3 (KTVK) and Rick Krolak and Craig Smith of Channel 15 (KNXV) attended a ceremonial groundbreaking Friday at the park near Central Avenue and Indian School Road.
