Default PebbleCreek

We are in the process of determining the best 55+ community to retire to in the Phoenix area and PebbleCreek was recommended to us. I would appreciate some comments ( for and against) on this community. How does it rank up against others in the area? What is Robson's home quality like? Are the homes fairly priced? What is the HOA like? What are the current monthly charges and what does it cover. Thanks in advance

Robson homes are definitely some to look at if you are interested in a 55+ community. We went into their models several years ago and I was very impressed with the quality and size of rooms.

The kitchens were large and well planned, which is not what I normally find in most new houses. The bathrooms had large walk-in showers and little seats, plus grab bars as I remember. I thought the houses were much nicer quality than those in other 55+ communities we had seen.

My main pain with them is that their prices have doubled since we first looked at the models. I don't know if they are cheaper now with the downturn in prices, but the community would be worth a look for sure.

The location of Pebble Creek is very pretty.

My in-laws live there (the past ~7 years or so) and like it. They are in their second house. HOA is moderately strict, but they are ok with it. They don't use the community amenities as much as some do, but they do seem to have a nice, quiet neighborhood. Don't know how the prices are, nor how this community compares to other similar types of communities. We are trying to move closer to them as we like the Litchfield Park/Goodyear area.

New mall coming in in the next year or so right next to Pebblecreek. Supposed to be pretty massive. That of course is both good and bad I guess.
