I was born here in 1974. No plans to leave but you never know where life will take you so who knows... I enjoy it here.

I moved here four years ago; my wife has been out here for 20.

Taking a trip to Georgia next month to scope things out.

The only reason we'd move is to be closer to family.

When I came out here, I didn't realize how much I'd miss them.

Been here a year and have decided that Phoenix is and will always be home. I may live in a different city for a while for business, leave for vacation, and travel to other places. But when people ask me where I am from, I will always say Phoenix. While growing up in the military, I lacked that feeling of being from some place or identifying with a city. I would visit my grandmother here in the Summer or for a Holiday and just loved it and would always ask to come back: I guess in essence, that was the foundation for now feeling at home here. I lived in the Seattle area the longest of any locale and I love Seattle but it just doesn't feel like home. And most of my family is in Arizona.

I lived there about 2 1/2 years, near 12th St and Bethany Home. When a job offer in Casa Grande came up, I gladly took it, relocated, and was happier there. City life just isnt my style. Too much traffic, too many people....and yes, I've lived in few different areas of Phx, including Scottsdale.

I've been here since 1960. I figured I'd leave as soon as my parents were gone, and the kids raised. Well, that's all happened and I'm still here! Yes, it's getting too crowded here, but when I look at the "big" picture, there's no where else I'd rather be.

I came here 9 years ago and I plan on remaining. The valley is a perfect fit for me. It's like a smaller, safer and cleaner version of Los Angelas which is perfect for me. The only thing I miss about Phoenix is a lack of an ocean. If Phoenix had that, it would be a perfect city.

5 years and I am getting the itch to move again.

I do that no matter where I've lived.

Part of me is attracted to the vibrancy of NY. As someone interested in the business side of business, it's an absolute mecca where one should pilgramage at least once in life... though I'd have to ditch a lot of stuff.

Part of me is attracted to the coastal regions of the South/Southeast. There's something about meeting a fishing boat at the dock and cracking a beer with seafood. But that scene might be a part of the past, as it became in SoCal. Still, I work with most of the papers in the region and when I see the beach scenes on their front page... it gets the gears turning.

I've got a Euro passport (parents are from there) so I can go there and work. Like NY, I'd have to sell and dump most of what I know and have to live there due to space/shipping, so it remains a tangent. It's also seemingly rampant with yammering crybaby types.

Asia seems much more allurning. I'd go to OZ if I wanted to stay in my role, but anyone with a tech skill should explore the rest of Asia, if only for a year or 2. Bali, Singapore, China, etc... fantastic places. I'd love to see India as well, which will probably bypass China in our attentions.
