Default Looking to purchase in Chandler

We are looking to purchase a home in Chandler off of Ray and McQueen. Does anyone know about this area? I know there are parts of Chandler that you don't want to live from what I've heard. We want somewhere safe, good neighbors, great schools etc.. Any advide would be helpful.

Why just off those streets? I'm selling my house that is right across the street from a brand new elemantry school. This past year was the first year it was opened. Very close to Jr High & High school also.

I'm curious what you've heard about Chandler (that makes you think there are parts you would not want to live in). I've not heard that before, so I'm just wondering what you've heard. Thanks.

The area around Arizona Avenue near Pecos is an area that should be avoided in Chandler.

When was the last time you were there? Yeah, it's still a little ghetto but it's improved 10 fold in the last few years. That area will be decent in 5 years. There is a lot of development there. There are a lot of areas in the valley that are trying to create a downtown-like feel. You hear about these stories all the time and it's rarely a reality. Downtown Chandler actually seems to making good on that promise. I was really suprised because that place was downright scary.

Default Ray & McQueen

Nice neighborhoods in that vicinity. Good Elementaries (Sanborn and Shumway) You will like it there!

My son is selling a house just a few blocks from the intersection of Ray and McQueen. I am a realtor but I do not represent him so as per the rules of the forum, I am not advertising myself. He is doing a FSBO so if you want his contact info then pm me.
