Default Phoenix a Good Area to move to?

Hello everyone,

I am thinking about moving around the Phoenix area after I graduate from college in April. I am currently living in Michigan where I have been my whole life. Although I would be leaving my family and friends I want to start a new live down south with my girlfreind. I almost have my Bachleors Degree in HR, but there are no promising jobs in MI. I want to find a career I will like, not one i will take just bc it is in my home state. What places are good for a 22 year old male and 23 year old female? Also where are safe areas in the city? And is Tempe also a good city? I just need some advice so I can start my search to see if Phoenix is really the place for me.

And if anyone knows zip codes to nice places to live please send me them. That way I can search for apartments.

Thank You
James

People from the upper midwest tend to like Phoenix on average because of the change in weather and the laid back atmosphere of Phoenix. It feels like a midwestern city in the west. It looks like LA without the attitude with Scottsdale as the exception.
