Did you need an oven mit to pick that thermometer back up after it had been frying in the sun?

I got the idea after getting out of my pool and almost burning my feet! I thought to myself, let's see how hot it is on the patio. That was taken on top of some large sandstone. I also have some "cool decking" around the pool. It was cooler, around 128*

It isn't too uncomfortable outside, I was just illustrating how hot things get in the sun out here

Don't forget, inside a vehicle left in the sun for just a short while it can get up to 165 degrees F.
Please don't leave your kids or pets in those vehicles while shopping.
