Used to live in IrvineCA for more than 10 years.
Moved here 3 month ago. I absolutely love here!!! If you healthy you can adjust to the heat. No big deal for me.
I got the same salary (I am Software Eng). Thel living cost is less.
People are simpler and more open. If you missed water you can go to the lakes. 30 miles drive and I am in the wildness. If I need beach vocation I go to Mexico anyway.
I used to live 7 miles from ocean and seen it 10-15 times per year. Local traffic is joke compare to OrangeCounty.
I don't care about education, because my daughter already graduated from UCI. I notice sometimes I drive my car kind of "wacky" compare to locals. Takes time to adjust. I can carry a GUN!! The land of freedom. Please Californians don't spoil this great State!!
Thank you Arizona!!!

We moved here in 2004 from Danville CA, and never looked back. We love it here.

I first moved to North Central from Oakland/Berkeley in 1995. Someone pulling a gun out to rob Blockbuster Video on a Saturday afternoon was about the last straw for me. Loved the great restaurants there, though. I figured I owe it to my family to not live in a place with so much violent crime.
