I was reading another thread and saw several people mentioning what their electric bill runs vs. what they set their ac on. But I think maybe some more information needs to be given to be really informed.
What does you electric bill run per month? How many sq ft is your house? what kind of exposure do you have (East/west or north/south)? what temp do you set your thermostat at? do you have a pool? is your house all electric or do you have natural gas as well? |

i know several people who have both, but yes they are in older neighborhoods. It still doesn't make the question less valid, if you have natural gas oven or water heater that could make your electric bill lower. |

Not true. Many homes (even newer ones) and apts have gas. Lots of people prefer gas stoves.
