IDK although I've seen ads that range from $10k for a simple one to $15k for ones with boulders and waterfalls.

We purchased a pool that will be constructed next month...not fancy, small play pool and it ran $35,000.

Ours is also a small play pool - nothing fancy - and cost just under $30k. We did not have a whole lot of kool deck added, but had we removed that all together, it would have been even less expensive.

Maybe not. There are a lot of come-on ads around. I do not know of anyone who actually got a pool for the price of one shown in those lowball ads.
I would be interested to see if anyone posts that they did. |

I was talking to our home improvement guy and he was saying to wait til November or December to get a pool. He said usually they can be from 4-7k cheaper.

No, you did see correctly. A lot of them advertise somrthing and then come over and show you what 15k will give you, then you say wait, I want tile around my pool, so they add that in and then you say wait, I'd like stairs, then they add that in, etc etc etc.
That what my husband experienced, so we decided we'd get a house that would have a pool before we bought the house. |

My pool was 38k, builder paid for 18k and I paid 20k out of pocket.
It was built by Shasta pools. Standard plaster, small waterfall, about 30x15 in a kidney bean shape, 6ft deep, extra concrete to connect to my back patio with kool deck, salt system, popup heads to clean it, some type of filter that doesn’t need to be back washed. I don’t know if that was a good deal or not. |
