MTF at Luke AFB or PCM in N. Peoria (Phoenix: military, job)

I'm looking for either using a PCM as a family doctor OR the MTF at Luke AFB. How far is the AFB to N. Peoria.?

Anyone retired or active duty that use the MTF?

Anyone use any of these doctors? I would like to at least choice a PCM this time that is recommended.

My father is a retired Army officer and my parents live in the Luke area. However, my mother told me that the MTF is mostly praticing fligh medicine/active duty care and that retirees, civilians, and most family members use civilian doctors...her doc is in Phoenix so can't help you out there, sorry.

We moved to Goodyear about 8 months ago and selected Tricare Prime (I think). My husband is an Army retiree and we selected physicians in Goodyear. A couple of weeks later, we received letters stating that we did not have the off-post Doctors we had selected, but, instead, had PCMs on-post. I haven't been, but my husband didn't seem to mind the person he saw at Luke.

I am retired military and I use a provider at Kirtland AFB in ABQ and my wife uses a provider at Luke AFB. We are in the process of moving to north Peoria and she made the move first for her job.

We both think the care we receive at these two MTFs is outstanding. We are Tricare Prime and over the years we have used both military and non-military PCPs. Both are equally good, in my opinion.

I cannot quote the time it takes her to get to Luke, but she feels the drive is not bad.
