Default Any good hanging out place (not a bar or college hang out)?

Hey All,

My folks are visiting from Canada and I wanted to take them to a place to just hang out. A coffee joint or an Ice Cream place would be fine.

I took that to The Gellatto Spot at the Biltmore and though they liked it, it's so hot to be sitting outside nowadays and they don't have enough seats inside.

The other place I used to take them to before is the Coffee Plantation on the Biltmore but it's closed now.

Something similar to the above places would just be great.

Thanks in advance

Jay

Take em to the classic Sugar Bowl in Scottsdale, right in Old Town on Scottsdale Road. GREAT malts in there! The food? Not so great, but not horrid either.

Pascucci in Scottsdale, on Scottsdale Rd. just above Indian School. Cappuccino and gelato, and a nice place to sit and chat.

How about going to one of the nicer malls? You could get a variety of snacks/food/coffee at the food court...sit, hang out, and people watch....all while staying cool.

Are you looking for a place to sit and chill while the world passes by? There are a few outdoor places that have misters, that works for me. You get to feel the heat but it's not going to kill you.
