Thanks for the heads up on the garden section. I am just trying to see if there is a market for the service and what knowledge people are after so I could provide it. I do not have anything to market at this time.

Default Some landscaping help would be appreciated

I just had Presidential build a pool and travertine pavers around the pool. They had to do it twice but I'm comfortable the grading is sufficient (.25") for drainage. The issue is that the pavers are now raised almost 6" from the rest of the backyard soil. Neither the landscapers nor the pool Company want to give me advice on whether I should raise the rest of the yard with soil and to what level. I understand that the granite rocks and sod I will lay over the soil will raise it 3" but what do I do to get a clean level look. Both the landscaper and pool co do not want to take responsibility for drainage issues down the road. This is in Gilbert and the home has never had drainage issues yet. Any advice would be appreciated.

I know people think they save money when they part their job out but in my experience it is better to have the landscaper do the whole exterior package. They realize they have to be competitive and the other contractors give them price breaks to stay competitive. This is what you end up with otherwise.

When ever you use the word "Registrar of Contractors" you will get some attention. Just ask them if they want to work it out or should you call the Registrar? That should get some action and if it does not, call them. The registrar will come out look the situation over and make a decision on who has to do what.
