Default re: car insurance in Phoenix vs. Ca.

Hello everyone, I have 21st Century for car insurance in Ca. and I will be moving to Az. in Feb. According to them I can keep them till I need to renew. If I decide to switch, does anyone have any suggestions? What car insurance do you have?

I have State Farm and have had them since I got my license. They have been great to deal with, never had any major problems with them through lots of theft claims. I have never been able to find a better deal with anyone else because of being with them for 15 years. My BF has All State and I keep wanting him to switch over as we got a much cheaper quote at SF.

I really like the fact of having an actual real person agent. Mine is awesome. If I had to deal with a 1800 number to talk to any rep I'd just hate it. I say go with someone you like and can trust.

You should try Progressive or American Family in AZ. They both have pretty good rates. AmFam can be pretty selective though. And have your policy info from your CA policy with you when you call or go into an office. It'll help them if you know what your coverages are and if you are trying different places they can all match up to what you are carrying. That way you don't think your getting a great price when your just getting shafted with less coverage.

We had State Farm when we lived in Phoenix. We just moved to CA, and would you believe that it is cheaper in CA than Phoenix for my car insurance. I know it sounds crazy, but it is true!
