It's clean becuase noone uses it.
What is there not to do in downtown? I bet I came name multiple places that you don't know about and things that go on that are unique from any other place in the Valley. There are also large clubs downtown, extremely nice restaurants, and historic neighborhoods. So what is missing? I bet it's here and you don't know about it like most Phoenicians who really don't spend time downtown.

All it takes is a few people who can see the potential of Downtown, who are willing to start the "action". These will be the winners because they took a risk and got in ahead of the crowds.

This is the time to jump in because the light rail, I believe, can bring in a lot of opportunities for Downtown.

Let the people who don't know any better move to Downtown. They will change it for the better because they don't know that it can't be done.

Phoenix just got out bid by Goodyear for a Motorolla contract... GOODYEAR.
Good year had better incentives than central PHX...

Like I already said, I've heard this talk about downtown for too long. Prices have been inflated downtown for years in lue of this "action" that has yet to happen.

Right! Thats why places downtown, clubs, restaurants, musuems, art galleries, new lofts are filled with people and more construction underway including multiple towers, the ASU campus, mid-rise to high-rise lofts, dense multi-housing units, etc. If you don't know where the action is downtown, that's your own fault. Like I said, name something you DON'T think is downtown, I'll let you know where it is and I can assure you there are tons of people there. Also, what would Motorola put downtown? A high-rise? I don't think so, therefore the city of Phoenix probably didn't offer any incentives because there would be no space for a big box warehouse in central Phoenix. What was Motorola looking to build? Do you have a link?
