Peoria..
Hi There =)
So I am looking in N. Peoria and like what I see. I am coming from N. Scottsdale where I sold recently and without getting killed (lucky me!)
I am looking for the same thing I had in Scottsdale minus the freakin 30k millionaire (I'm better then you because I live in Scottsdale and you don't attitude) I'm a case of Tacate, take the boat out, let's BBQ and watch college football kind of guy.
Guard gated (or regular gate is fine) well kept sub division, that either back to a mountain or that has good views of some and that is not in the city to say.. but maybe a bit out there. Most def. needs to be north of the 101.
I know two people there and one said West Wing. Dont know if its gated.
Any suggestions would be great.. Thanks!

I love Tacate.
Go look at Stetson Valley. Nice views and they have some gated communities up there. Another area with good views and gates is straight up 67th ave about as far North as you can go. Depending where its at your either in Phoenix, Glendale, or Peoria. The boundary lines are fairly weird up there. Either way, its very nice.
Vistancia is nice. If you want to be close to the freeway Arrowhead has some nice areas.
All N. of the 101.

Ditto agree.
And you'll be close to Lake Pleasant, plus you'll also have everything as Scottsdale has without the snob appeal.

Pleasant valley estates is really nice....it's across (lake pleasant road aka 99th avenue) from west wing just north of Jomax.....it's gated and very close to pleasant. Awesome Mountain views...there's actually a mountain located IN the subdivision itself....The homes and lots are amazingly large......tons of shopping right down the street on 99th aka lake pleasant pkwy and happy valley, everything from Target to home depot to tilly's to Nail spas (my personal fav ) I love the area as a young person.....okay well maybe not young but 27.

We live in Vistancia and have been very happy with our choice. It is a very active community and tons of Tacate kind of families, big sports fans. Activities are geared for poker/card enthusiasts, basketball and golf.
There are several gated sections here with no shortage of resales. There are also some new build lots left in Entrada which is gated and built by Shea Homes. I think some of these homes have the best bang for the buck.
There are some great "bank owned" homes that still pop up now and then. Come on up and take a look around and best of luck.

We live in Stetson Valley off of W. Happy Valley - the area in roundball's map with the red mark - and we love it. Our particular community is not gated, but we're really happy we chose to buy here - recommend it highly. Friendly neighbors, nice views (our area is all large one-stories which I especially like), and we love our home (Pulte - great experience). I also like the convenience of being close to I-17 along with plenty of shopping and restaurants in the N. Glendale/Arrowhead and Peoria area (two favorites are Tutti Santi and Jug 'n Barrel).
