What is the funniest thing that happed to you on a date?
My hubby and I went to San Diego Zoo on our second date. I love Gorillas and that was the first place I wanted to go. This was before they enclosed the compound with solid glass and you could stand fairly close to them. There were about 50 Japanese tourist there with cameras flashing all over the place. I was fixated on the big silver back who was fixated on me. I thought it was awesome the way he was staring at me. I realized that all the tourists had moved way up the hill, along with my date. They were staring at me too. When I turned around the big silver back scooped up poop and flung it all over me. The cameras were all flashing again. We actually got to a third date.

My husband and I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre on our first date!
Your zoo story cracked us up... it kind of sounds like something that would happen to me. On our second date we went to a "haunted house", when leatherface came out with his chainsaw everyone else ran but I grabbed him and we had a "moment" finally leatherface put down his chainsaw and whispered "you're supposed to run" oooops! we also made it to a third date...

King Kong would be a good first date movie, imho cause it is long so a lucky guy could at least get to the 1st base, if not there is enough fiction and action to keep him busy. Also, there is plenty drama, romance and tear-jerking to keep women happy as well.

Phoenix "Chat" Room
Hello everybody,
I am a new member of the City Data forums here and I just wanted to first of all say hello to all of you.
I think Phoenix should get more positive feedback because its not as ugly as many people think. In fact, it looks quite nice in my opinion.
I look forward to having a nice experience as a member of these forums.

I don't understand why some people say that Phoenix has no change of seasons. My research tell s me that you could consider the monsoons of July and August a separate season of its own.
I haven't seen any rain all summer where I live.

Different strokes for different folks (and there are a lot of different species in AZ!) so, those who like it stay. Some of those who don't like it either leave or stick around for whatever reasons and whine.
The way I look at it, if they are noth happy at all, there are 49 other States they could try!

That is VERY true, there are 49 other states. I used to think that I could never consider living in Phoenix because of the heat and the fact that I'd have to deal with scorpions. But I have changed my attitude and I feel better because of it.
I don't know if some people realize how many positives there are to living in AZ, one of them is that air quality is much better than many other places. Plus, the sun is very good for you because of the vitamin D it provides.
Whatever some say about Phoenix, it is growing fast for a reason.

All seasons are called what they are because of the position of the equator at the time.
