Insurance is a bit less here which is amazing since everyone else say otherwise. Car registration is a little less, motorcycle is about the same or tiny bit more + $20 for the emission (which sucks squirrel nuts imho).
Apartments here have a stupid tax here, which is not much (approx. 2%) but still annoying.

safeway is a ripoff for general goods, but for meats and produce it is not. Fry's sell rotting fruit everyday and its hard to find a safeway close by.

I don't know about the meat situation but I know their breakfast meat is not that reasonable and I buy the other type of meat at Sprouts, at least there, the quality is decent enough.
I was comparing general everyday items, like produce, eggs, etc. Safeway's prices are only reasonable when it has the club price discount.
Don't get me started on this 'club card' crap.
Most annoying thing ever imho, I hate carrying bunch of cards around like a housewife. My wallet is thicker than a laptop and there is hardly any cash in it!

i agree on both accounts. The club card is an easier way for the grocery stores to charge you "extra". You either pay regular price or over-inflated prices to pay for our big stores.

After 2 semesters of college in Arizona, i think im done with Arizona. When im ready to transfer to a University, im leaving.
The constant frustration with these colleges is making me go bald. I have to submit the same form 3 times, for 3 different forms, to the same department? how does that make sense?

I was in WA the weekend before last, went to Seattle, Bellingham, Anacortes and Guemes Island. I was stunned by how expensive everything was. It was like CA, traffic just as bad and not as pretty. AZ is dirt, dirt cheap by comparison.

Do you see the old school scale icon at the right top corner of each post?
Move your cursor on top of it as it will tell you 'Add to the reputation of ...".
Besically if you dig, support or enjoy someone's post, you can click on that icon of the post in question and that action adds to the reputation of that person.
At the end of the month, he or she gets gifts and/or cash prices from City-Data forum.
Ok, the last part was a joke...
Now, if it made you smile or laugh, go ahead and add to my reputation!

Hey other people here, I just stumbled finding this forum, which I believe I will be pretty soaked into. Funny thing, I was searching Chateau Briand trying to check if anywhere in town serves that portion of steak.
My name is Ron, and Im a computer consultant by trade and pretty much a computer geek, music lover, and "car guy".
Hello all....back to the reading, this interruption is over.
(My first post, just to say hello)
