I would like my wife to feel safe. She likes to shop and go out on weekends so we will need to be close to areas that offer those things. Safe, shopping, dinner places, cool bars that are not overrun by 20 something deralicts. Nothing against them, I was one once but have moved on.

Also... I am a bartender and will be looking for work in a cool, lively bar/resturaunt. Any suggestions for nice places will be appreciated. Not looking for a fast paced nightclub or a ritzy old folks scotch drinkin golfer hangout. Something in between?

Any advice?
Where you're working is perfect for what you desire by your own specs. Maybe not a good place to tend bar, or likely many prospects, but your hours in that are such that you could commute a little further and not be bothered by the heavy rush hour traffic.

yes it is pretty hot and sunny over here in Phoenix AZ, and some of you guys might think that's quite fascinating. But if you have lived in Phoenix all your life like i have, you probably are sick of the sun, I know I am. Thats why I want to move to Forks and not just because they made Twilight there but because I'm sick of the sun.

Once it was a part of Mexico, but not anymore, so if they don't belong here, they need to get moving south.

I am sick of all the charity people with Santa hats, sitting in front of super markets and ringing those ^%#@&*(! bells all day long, giving people a headache in a matter of seconds.

Should we make them move back north, wayyy up north?

There is a difference, they are doing something good, getting money for a charity, all mexicans are doing is flooding our schools, taking our jobs, and making the entire city a dump.

Well, they are not all like that, generalizing any group like that will make you look prejudice and even racist despite partial truth.
If the country they were coming from had a strong economy with low unemployment rate, would they be still coming?
Don't worry though, employing illegals has become much tougher in AZ, plus the job market and economy in US is in the dump so these factors will definitely slow the traffic from South quite a bit.
Still, if all latinos were gone, the related blames were immediately passed onto another...

Anyhow, this particular thread is not the right place to discuss this type of a topic, imho.
