How do you know who is "legal" and who is "illegal"? Just by looking at them?
You can think what you want, but this is the internet, and is not enough to draw a judgment such as yours. You know nothing about me, but somehow decided that you do based on a few simple posts. If you knew me, you know that I have plenty of social skills.
My problem is not them working illegally, it's their culture in general. They are coming here illegally and expecting US to adapt to them. Why should I have to learn Spanish?
And for your jobs comment, they pretty much dominate the labor field, you can't get a decent construction job without knowing how to communicate in Spanish. I enjoy working with my hands, and it's sad to know that the only way I can get a decent labor job is to have a college degree and be a foreman or construction manager.
Have you ever even been to Mexico? I am not talking about Rocky Point or ether, that's not Mexico, that's just an American town with little laws. The entire country is a dump, and they are bringing their dirty culture to Arizona, along with their horrible language, their crime, and their carloads of children.
Hispanic women are not beautiful, they are an eyesore for the most part. The only state with a Hispanic influence would be New Mexico, wow, thats real original and such a "beautiful spanish name".
The only thing you are right about is that no, I do not care what they think about me, and I am pretty damn sure they could give two ****s about what I thought about them either, but that's not even the point.
Why so angry and bitter, Josh? Chill out. You're really taking this illegal immigration thing a bit too personal, aren't you? As I stated, that's what our laws are for - to handle this problem. You sound like you're about to become a vigilante, and take on the whole world by yourself.
Now, seriously... you absolutely need to learn some Spanish if you're going to live in the Southwest, because you're going to eventually live on some street with a Spanish name on it, like either Camino de las Aguilas or Huerta De Las Naranjas. You're going to have to order your next meal in Spanish (Flautas, Chile Rellenos, or Carnitas Con Queso), most likely from a very lovely young Hispanic waitress. Also, you may end up living in either Montana or Nevada - not necessarily in Nuevo Mejico as you claim.
Also, Mexico and its people are no "dirtier or any more an eyesore" than many places and people right here in these United States. Open your eyes, young man... you need to see the WHOLE picture. Now, just sit back and settle into the great Southwest, Josh. All is going to be okay - really!

I am not the least bit angry. Knowing how to order a Quesadilla and having a conversation with someone are two different things. There has been countless time that people call my work, expecting someone who speaks Spanish to answer. And I do apologize for being so hostile in my post, it's just that I have been on many message boards in the past, and I hate when someone things they know you based off a few posts you made on the internet.
I know enough Spanish to order a beer and find where the bathroom is, thats all I should need to know.
I backpacked from Mexico City through Central America, and I visited some of the most rundown dirty cities, and when I see some phoenix areas becoming like this, I become almost enraged. I am being selfish, but I love Arizona, and I feel that immigration has gotten to a point where I don't even want to live here anymore.

My sis went up there with her boyfriend for a week for Xmas to visit his family (I am assuming at this point you guessed that he is a Canuck).
She left the 50-60 degree Phoenix weather to go to Alberta (-35 degrees and at that degree it doesn't matter if it is Fahrenheit or Celsius...lol).
She is no doubt either freezing or already frozen at this point!
As far as the illegals coming over to the States....well, just watch the video:
Hi, I'm new here. My Son is traveling to Phoenix to work the Oakland A's training camp and is looking for a place to stay for the two months he is in town. We know nothing of the area and any suggestions would be appreciated.
