good MLS site?
I'm having a hard time finding a site where I can search the MLS w/o giving personal info, and then find real details, not just a few descriptors. Any help would be great.

Most sites won't be real user friendly. The MLS is on Realtor sites to attract business. They aren't updated all the time either and won't give much info as they want you to call them.
Try realtor dot com. That's what I use when I look up stuff out of state.

Thanks, I forgot about that site. It still doesn't show any interior photos or square footage, and I have linked up with great sites in Houston and Seattle that will show all the details. Anything else to try?

Zip Realty has a good site but you need to give some personal info. Set up a Yahoo or Hotmail account and give a fake name and phone number. That way the realtor won't bug you at all.
The Zip Realty site will give you the days on market, any price reductions and will let you search by cross streets as well as zip codes. The problem with Realtor dot com is that you can only search by zip code and in Phoenix that is a problem. Within one zip code you can have million dollar houses a quarter mile away from a trailer park. So with the Zip site if you like the area of 7th Ave and Bell, you can do a radius search of houses from that location. Just make sure that you give a fake phone number or the agent will start calling you a lot.

I like yahoo.com, and than click on real estate on the left hand side. It gives you lots of pics, square footage, how long its been on the market, a map to figure out where the home is located, and some other stuff. It's very cool!

well I'll probably get in trouble for advertising but you can use mine. I specifically set it so you don't have to give any personal info because I hate that. You can look around all you want and I won't even know you're there. It's a real-time search of the entire MLS system for the Phoenix area. Photos and virtual tours included. Happy Hunting!

Same goes for mine. It's in my profile if you need it, but I'm not gonna spam it out here in the open, especially on my very first post.

I am going to close this thread because I don't think there is any way, even with the best intentions, of answering the question without running afoul of the rules about advertising and/or realtors trolling for clients. You can always PM the original poster with information.
