Well, I'm not sure which part of Surpirse you're thinking about, but I was actually out there this weekend looking, mainly at Marley Park. I can tell you that when I select my work address in my GPS (work on 1st / Adams) it told me 45 min to destination from there.

I'm still learning the neighborhoods, so I'll let someone else chime in on that.

Do you mean 152nd Ave? If so, 152nd Ave and what?

152nd St would be on the east side of town.

152nd Ave is pretty far out there, basically the edge of town or damn near. Asking how close that is to Phoenix is a big vague. Where in Phoenix? As for crime, Surprise has pretty low rates compared to the valley in general. Nothing I'd worry about.

Agreed. The western city limits are much further. 152 is approximately Reems Road area. There are tons of stores on Bell, and some stores at Greenway/Reems and Waddell/Reems.

45 minutes to downtown Phoenix if you avoid the peak traffic.

Of course, if your destination is elsewhere in Phoenix, the trip may be shorter (or longer).

Surprise is nice. Very safe with no bad areas. Some say to stay away from Subs that border El Mirage.
I work near metro center and it takes me 30-35 mins to get to work...using surface streets. I live in Kingswood Parke (Bell and Parkview).
