Yeah whatever. I said nobody wanted to live there in the 90's. What does that have to do with the slow down in the real estate market today? People have moved to Surprise since then and it has grown, I'm asking what the attraction is. Give me something besides a decent little town. I also said maybe I'm missing something, what is it? Cheaper housing? I also never said it was a big deal that people couldn't live there. I was suggesting N Glendale. This is a relocation forum. All opinions are welcome. Relocators need to check these places before they come. I didn't but hopefully they will.

Surprise is nice but lacks good freeway access.
You may have longer commute times than you would like if you purchased a home that far out.

I would recommend Litchfield Park or Avondale.

Thanks for the input about Surprise and Glendale. My husband said that Glendale is probably where we will look for a house. Surprise is a little far from where he will be working. Any suggestions of communities in N. Glendale?? How about elementary schools in N. Glendale???

Thanks!

The North Scottsdale, Carefree areas are safer and very beautful. I would also recommend Arrowhead, as it is closer for your husband's commute.
