I LOVE kimchee...what is kimchee zigae? Is it a special type? I am forced to eat the Joe Kim Hawaiian style that I can (sometimes) get at Basha's. The natural kind at Whole Foods is bland. The randy stuff at the ranch market in the Chinese Cultural center about blew my head off!

I usually start cooking at around 4:30-5. Right now its either going to be Mahi on the grill with a curry and some rice, burgers and/or hotdogs and corn on the grill, or macaroni and cheese (out of the box).

I love kimchi jigae - it's a Korean stew made with kimchi, very satisfying. I like the packaged kimchi at Asiana Market, the Korean market in Glendale. They have it in the refrigerated banchan section.

I'm exploring Greek cuisine this month, so for tonight's dinner I'm making taramasalata and pita, and meatballs in a tomato bechamel sauce (keftedes stin armi).

Not sure I caught the dog eating reference but...I am being lazy tonite. My son is out of town so it is just me. I stopped at Whole Foods and got some sweet potatoes, corn salad and smoked chicken. That's dinner for today lol! I couldnt make up my mind on desert so I got a cantaloupe, peach and some bananas. Or maybe I'll do a mocha smoothie-still undecided. Not exactly culinary excitement today.
