Eagle Ridge at Vistancia (Ashton Woods Homes) (Phoenix: work, new home)

Does anyone know about this neighborhood, the good and the bad or anything about this builder?

Aston Woods builds beautiful detailed homes and always builds in more upscale finer communities.

HOWEVER BEWARE: Crystal, the sales agent at Vistancia for Ashton Woods is one of the most horrrible people we have ever had to work for. SHe is rude, unfriendly and most of all unhelpful. I would ask for a different sales agent if possible.

My Husband and I visited this community in March cause we are planning to move as well. The community is very new and it really looks nice. But after seen their homes on line and comparing in person I don't think is worth it. We found other builders in other communities that have better quality homes & you get more sq. ft for the price you are paying. I think is just because of the community. If you are more concern about where you live rather than the dollars you are putting into your house, then its wortht it. The community really is nice.

I have heard fewer bad things about Ashton Woods, than any of the other builders here in Vistancia. They all have their hiccups, but overall the homes are very nice. We have new arrivals from N.Y that bought a new home in Ashton Woods and they seem happy. To those of you coming here, a very big welcome to you.

fotoverdi, you are making a good choice. And, if you finally decide here, then welcome soon to Vistancia. Great neighborhood, community, and schools. I think Ashton is as good as the other builders here. I think that when MotleyCrew wrote hiccups she may have been referring to a few issues that builders had trying to build homes quickly during the height of the boom not only here, but all around Phoenix. We've been very happy with our builder's home quality and customer service.

Jaribu, you may want to look here again because there are some deals here with prices coming down more since March. Good news for you!

It's unfortunate that you feel this way. Crystal was are sales agent and she was WONDERFUL!!!! She was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure our home buying experience was enjoyable! I felt Crystal was very knowledgeable and that she went over and above to answer our questions. I also know that are fellow neighbors feel the same way! To anyone looking to visit Ashton Woods Homes in Vistancia please do and Crystal will take GREAT care of you!!!!

That builder tends to breed that type of salesperson and that attitude stretches all the way to the top of the chain.

Funny Ashton Woods told me back in January prices were going to be increasing. They probably have a bridge to sell me as well.
