I know someone who works for the Sheriff's Office.

If every major city in this country had a Sheriff Joe the USA would be a better place.
At least he makes the effort which is more than our federal govt has done/ |

Sheriff Joe sucks!!! (I know God will forgive for that). I never did like this man. I feel very sad and sorry for some of the inmates under his supervision. That's just sad.
(Reminder: DO NOT COMMIT A CRIME IN ARIZONA, OR YOU'LL HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS DIABOLICAL MAN AND THE TREATMENT YOU WILL RECEIVE UNDER HIS SUPERVISION). |

Why are so many here worried about criminals in jail? Wait until Sheriff Joe retires and crime goes through the roof, then you will want him back.

Crime is already going through the roof.

Even in the building they are with other inmates. They used to be kept separate many years ago, but they are too overcrowded now. In a perfect world there would be a separate section of the building for people that have not been convicted, but this is not a perfect world. Several times a year you read about cases where people have been imprisoned and then released when new evidence is found. DNA tests, witnesses found to be lying, other people confessing to the crime and just in the past few days, the FBI withholding evidence. Just think about being imprisoned for 30 years when you know you are innocent. I'm getting off the subject...I don't feel sorry for a criminal being locked up, but feel badly when someone is later found to be innocent.
