B) Joe Arpaio's support of animal rights is legendary - heck, he has got a "no kill" shelter IN THE JAIL for unwanted animals - there was even an event just last night to raise money for this effort

D) The New Times - anything they publish / write about Arpaio is HIGHLY suspect to begin with - they have a definite agenda against Arpaio

I agree that the New Times can be unsavory, but they also brought the FLDS situation to the public attention through their series about the FLDS and Warren Jeffs. That was at least 4 years ago. Before their stories, no one was doing anything about the FLDS.
