What Sheriff Joe gives these people in the jails, is way too much. He's a freakin' liberal, as we spend our tax dollars protecting these dirtbags in the jails.
I've seen this up front, up close. Money being spent on taking care of these loosers is a waste of money, period. If he really wants to cut down on the 'visitors' to the MC jails, he could consider those meals, but every other day. The tents, have to go - leave the inmates. Our lovely Phoenix weather will cut down on the loosers in no time. He provides MEDICAL care, again, wasting money on these loosers. I've seen them taken to the hospital, when they should be dropped off in the desert. These people in the jails, if they just disappeared, no one would give a rats ..... These people are worth nothing and deserve nothing. You get convicted in MC and you get treated to meals, medical care. Thats punishment? Toughest Sheriff? I don't think so. More like a liberal giving in to the press. |

It's not that easy to pick up and move or I am sure we'd all be gone. Some might even like AZ again if we got rid of some of the problems here. I love this "Don't do the time, if you can't do the time" .. I'd be happy to make these people wish they were never BORN, let alone the regret of some crime. Your scary USM, let me guess, military? I do know a man who was arrested by one of sherif Joe's posse. He was accused of a crime by a neighbors kid. He was arrested, put in jail, and then on house arrest with a anklet and a parole officer until a court hearing. His crime, walking but nekked in his garage. What really happened was he was wearing beige shorts and no shirt, it was summer. He's from CA. Because of the new laws, patriot act, being one, if your neighbor has suspicion of you for some reason you can be processed for this. In this case, the girl had never seen a white man naked before, assumed my friend was. She later said it was really her little friend that told her he was a naked man and she wanted her mom to come from work so she called her and told her about the naked man. They were home alone all day. They were 9 and 10. They dropped the case and told him they were sorry, but he went through this for months first. Had to explain it to work, and there are some people that think he still was naked! The moral of this story is, if your whiteish- don't wear beige shorts and no shirt or shoes. If your brownish- don't wear brownish shorts with no shirt or shoes. lol People everyday get arrested for crimes they don't commit, it's a flawed system. Just be nice to your neighbors, all they have to do is say "I saw John Doe dragging something very strange out of his house", ! Bye Bye John! ![]() Sherif Joe needs to do a little more posse training; And I'm glad USM didn't get a hold of my friend first. ![]() Last edited by twiggy; 07-17-2007 at 12:35 PM. |

Ever wonder how a guy like sheriff Joe is worth millions? He is old school and being old school means having your hands dirty as well. There is an article on Phoenix News Times that lays out Joe's wealth.

Sherrif Joe, is a liberal. These clowns in his jails cost money, and he spends it. Most of these people, if they just disappeared, no one in MC could care less. I could get those meals down to $0.00 cents a day. The tents in Tent City? .. Remove them. The great weather here will soon decrease the number of these looser above ground.
Sherrif Joe sounds 'tough', but he gives these loosers everything and FREE health care. Sound like punsihment to you? |

I did leave Arizona (thankfully). I mainly come on here for entertainment and to reinforce my feelings that my move to Boston was the right one. I hated Arizona; Phoenix is the armpit of America really. USMC is a great example of the type of people who populate that dusty wasteland. Advocating torturing and killing people who are arrested for misdemeanors; wonderful. Even in Iran they don't do that. But see, this is the kind of mentality that gets people like Ole' Joe elected. He's a media ***** who builds his image up through public relations work while the crime rate in Phoenix continues to rise. If people out there had a brain they would start to see that throwing (for example) young drug offenders in such a situation for extending periods of time does nothing to deter them from future crime. If anything, it encourages more crime. They are associated with others to "network." The third-world treatment they receive only makes them bitter and angry. And after spending extended periods of time for minor offenses, losing their jobs and presenting them with really one option after release (and guess what that is). Anyway, people get what they deserve out there. The worst education system in the country (worse than Mississippi) and one of the most dangerous state's in the country. |

If you think about it, some prisoners are probably safer inside jails or prisons than on the streets. |

Personally, I believe this country, possibly even the world, would be a much better and safe place if there were more Sheriff Joes. We definitely need him here in Pima County. ! ! ! ! |

Arizona is known for it's media ****'S and let's not forget our other public embarrassments. Martin LK day with Gov. Ed Mecham, Symingtons adventure, although I like his recent Phx. Lights UFO sighting cover up story.lolhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMfEV5qATrY , crime ratings, highest teen suicide rate as seen on Good Morning America, 49th in education as seen on CNN, second fastest growing state behind Nevada as seen on just about every station and in resent years good ole' pink undies as a way to fight our crime, which has escalated since we hired the twisted little dude. And a posse, giddy up Arizona. lol Ride the range if you can see through the brown cloud your paying taxes for because we are being fined by the Government for not cleaning it up. Like I've said on here before, it's like watching people trying to pretend it's to dry here to feel the effect of the heat. Even though we have excessive heat warnings all summer long, almost every week for 2 months. You know, I try and like the state but this what freaks me out the most. Instead of trying to fix any of this embarrassing crap, we defend it, and publicly. It's like were 12 and think if we say we didn't do it that'll work. Guess what, it doesn't, it's on National t.v. for goodness sake. We just look retarded. Why can't we just say, yes, we need to get our crap together and do that instead. It would get a lot more respect. Maybe it's because so many people move in and out so quickly there not invested in AZ enough to help solve the problems?Well, then theirs the ones who think their rose colored glasses will somehow help shield them from the crap, maybe a little, just the eyes so they can't see it!!!!! Oh, hate me!![]() |
