Hey Susie:
I am Czech. But we are definitely in the minority. You won't find a big population of us like you would in Chicago and you won't find the typical foods that Czech's eat either. I have to go back to Chicago and the old neighborhood to get a roast pork dinner with dumplings and sauerkraut or fruit dumplings, etc. The population here is very diverse and there are not pockets of people who have settled in areas, like the Polish, Swedish, Czechs, etc. I don't think other people who are Czech advertise it much. Just not something in the routine order of conversation. ![]() |
