I've hired Fidelity to manage my portfolio and lost a LOT of money. I emailed them tonight and fired them. Can anyone recommend someone honest who knows how to invest and make money? Thanks.

Try to weed out "advisors" that claim you aren't charged for their advice. They are working for commission and have divided loyalties.
Google "certified financial planner" and try to educate yourself before making the same mistake again. A real planner works for you and charges you a fee. |

"A real planner works for you and charges you a fee." I don't know. If they try to put you in any mutuals with any load fee, you can be sure they are double dipping. There are just so many excellent mutuals out there without any fees. That would be my test to see if they indeed are working for me.
