This storm was very distructive and its power was also very "beautiful." The aftermath however SUCKS! For lack of a better word. My neighborhood downtown looks similar to those pictures taken not too far from my location...most seem further up Central from downtown. The owner of the white Nissan is extremely lucky that enormous palm didn't fall on her/his car. On ASU's campus, there were metal structures and canopies from the parking garages blown on top of cars in the lots.

I was gonna say the same thing. That Maxima SE was spared a horrible death!

For those who have trees, make sure you deep water from time in order to train the roots lower and wider. In these storms a lot of the trees that are knocked over have rootballs pretty near the ground/trunk. Big, big trees that have gotten enough water to grow tall, but not enough to make sure the roots got really deep.

Wowee... Did a tornado go through up there? We had storms, but nothing out of the ordinary like you all got. Hope everyone's okay.
