I am taking the GMAT test in 3 months and I'm looking for some places to study for other than my apartment, I know of the 3 coffee plantations to go to (1 in Tempe, 2 in Scottsdale) then obviously there are some good libraries in the area (the civic one in Scottsdale is the one I usually go to, although I hate the wireless internet there, its so slow and disconnects all the time)

If anyone knows any cool places to possibly go to, just lemme know...Basically just looking for quiet type places with a decent atmosphere....

Public library at 35th ave and baseline. Modern quiet library right next to a large lake/park/golf course...plenty of things to do if you want to take a break. Go for a walk and feed the ducks. No coffee shop though....personally that would be too distracting for me...especially the one in Tempe!

It may not be in your area, but I love hanging out at Next Coffee Company. It's over in Arrowhead Ranch (59th ave/101). It's 3500sf (I believe it's the largest in the state), wireless that seems to work (I see lots of laptops there), great seating, lots of outlets, etc. It was built right across the street from Midwestern University for a place for their students to study. It's own by Next Student. I love their blended Tan Latte! Yum!!

I recommend a few places:
1. Pink Spot Cafe is not too loud, and clean and friendly atmosphere, good lighting, no claustrophobia.
2. Gilbert Library at Guadalupe and Greenfield is really an excellent library.
3. Phoenix Central library has a quiet room which is very nice and well maintained.
4. Starbucks at 44th and Indian School Road is very friendly
5. It's a Grind on Baseline in Gilbert.
6. Barnes and Nobles, Peoria location is my favorite so far.
7. Luigi's Cafe : 16th Street and Northern/Glendale/Bethany's Home?
8. Paradise Cafe: Near to Luigi's Cafe
