It is NOT the OFFICIAL language of the U.S.
We don't have one.
If English did NOT play a part in world politics, I doubt there would even be much of a need to learn it.

Well, having spent many years living in what you would consider a "liberal" city, I found much entertainment in dodging homeless, stepping over poop and wading through garbage tossed out on the streets. Phoenix is a repub' town. Look up 'conservative' then look up liberal. The fogies rules here.. liberals have always been about the future & Modern/Modernist.. and new discoveries, not backward looking. The so-called 'conservatives' (wtf do/did they ever conserve??) like old fashioned.. everything. It is sad.. no, sick. Too bad we can't go back to the future..

LOL...Yeah I've met some very "educated" people driving taxi's and/or waiting tables in those liberal cities...and met some high school graduates and/or dropouts that were multi-millionaires in "conservative" cities. FOFLMAO Great point
