Question Mesa or Tempe

I will be attending Collins college and i want to find out which area is better to go to , because i am a person who like to party and like metro areas, i am coming from FL. plus if i don't have to drive sometime that is also a plus. I also was checking out Rivera Village and Newport Mesa apts.. Please help me with my decision..

If you are going to live in Tempe, live away from ASU. If you are going to live in mesa, live on the east side. That's all

I live in Mesa and like it. I'm not telling you to move here, but the area around MCC is actually kind of like an extension of Tempe in many ways; similar kind of vibe. I'm actually taking some night classes at MCC right now and love it-- I might even transfer to ASU next year. Collins college sucks though by the way.

tempe and mesa are neighbor cities. You can easily commute from one to the other by simply going down the street. Tempe in my opinion is way better, great downtown, college town, lots of bars, clubs, restaurants, and you can find very cheap, decent apartments. Mesa on the other hand is very uptight, lots of cookie cutter neighborhoods,, no nightlife, police are out of control there . . .

East Mesa is. West Mesa is no different than Tempe (once you're away from the Mill Ave entertainment district of course).
