Another election with an ignorant rich man and a progressive intelligent man who is too polite. McCain is looking like Bush in this one, again we will not go with intelligence. As many have said, we can't identify with it. ha ha Really runs home the complaint about our education system being broken and needing help doesn't it? Its like a vicious cycle, we can't fix education without picking someone educated, we won't pick someone educated until we fix our education system and pump out people who are smart enough to do so.
Food for thought!
McCain has McMansions everywhere. We should start giving tours like they do in Hollywood. Maybe thats how he will help our economy. lol It's really a vote for Palin, maybe you should be going to Alaska. There you can get to see her house and her pregnant daughters school as well. Like the rest of their campaign, she is packed with way more excitement than old McCancer face. Still think you don't need to worry about all this sunshine? ha ha
By the way, still up in the air with this one. McCain makes me barf and Obama, although intelligent seems to be giving in to the very thing he dislikes lately. And Palin, I would hate to see that woman before her period!!! She is almost a presidential pick seeing McCain acts like he just wants to win before he dies and picked her like you would someone in a "will" to leave your stuff (America) too! I would have gone extreme if available. Someone like Ron Paul or cucinich. I hate playing this game. We need to really strip down all this gov. nonsense. We do need a change, the choices this year aren't change enough for me! I say, get rid of the parties! It's to much like a damn football game.
And what is with all the republicans having that weird little 1/2 laugh after everything they say? It's so strange that McCain has the Bush laugh. Does anyone else notice this?
Hey, maybe we can tape the laugh and have it coming out of speakers in front of Johns houses on the tour? Good idea? ha ha We can do Bush and McCain duo! It will be like a haunted house.

So, according to your logic, we should DUMP Kennedy and Pelosi plus 99% of the other Fat Cats in Washington?

Yup, it sold a while back - about a year a half ago I think. I was following that house, especially since I always drove that way to work. I didn't know it was McCain's home until I looked it up one day.

That's easy. The only people with money anymore are Republicans and Hollywood stars.

While I'm an Obama supporter, I don't believe he has a point here.
Yes McCain has many houses and is beyond rich...but is Obama himself suffering really? He made something like $11 million last year. True he didn't grow up rich...but did McCain? I don't think he didn't either.
It just seems a bit pointless when one millionaire is telling another millionaire that he can't connect with the middle class.
And as someone said, McCain has a condo at 24th St and Camelback, that's his main residence in Phoenix.

McCains father was a navy Admiral and secretary of the Navy, I believe. I doubt he ever wanted for much growing up. He got into the Naval Academy (and graduated at pretty much the bottom of his class) because of Dad. Obama was raised by a single mom who died when he was young and then by grandparents who had very little. He got into Harvard on his own merits and graduated near or at the top of his class. McCain dumped his wife and married his money, while Obama earned his. I don't know how any of that impacts one's understanding of what it is like to be middle class, but I would guess that if it does, Obama would have a lot more empathy than McCain.

Actually the research information came from AP, Reuters, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, Washington Post, New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal, among other independent journalism sources. At one point, the number of residences uncovered was 11.

My point of view, on this point, is one of a Chicago Native, with intimate knowledge of the problems of the neighborhoods where Senator Obama has worked so diligently to improve conditions for the working poor. He did gain his education ( and his adult salary) through his own efforts, and his own native intelligence. . . .not through any kind of "family legacy". . . and he has used his resources to help many who are working to raise their families with sound values in an enviornment that predisposes young people to the influences of gang lifestyle and crime. I admire the man tremendously, and think that we could not do better for a presidential candidate. His broad outlook will strengthen our country both internally and within the world community. I believe that Senator Obama's interest in politics is not self-serving so much as an honest belief that he can move this country in a direction that is better for most of us. I hope that is correct, and that he gets the opportunity to make meaningful changes in our political process.
