I have lived in this area (those are my main cross streets as well) for over six years and have not had one issue. I've more than enjoyed my time living here and have no fears of leaving my house or community at any time of day or night.

I haven't read all of this thread, so forgive me if this was already mentioned. I always tell people to google the AZ Sexual Preadator Web site for the zip codes in that area vs maybe the zip codes in Ahwatukee or Chandler. Every area has them, don't get me wrong, but it's amazing how many more are out in that South Phoenix/Laveen area.

There are some very beautiful areas/neighborhoods but there are a lot of low income areas too. If you have kids, really check into the schools for that area before making the decision.
