Default Laveen School District - Your Thoughts?

With two items directly relating to Laveen hitting the ballot this election what are your thoughts on each?

Yes to the bond.

No to redistricting.

Are you an employee of the district or a home owner in the district, or do you have children attending a school in Laveen?

I always say yes to the bond. I don't really like the thought of redistricting either. I have a six year old that is going to Trailside Point in her second year at the school. The bond issue is very necessary for the sustained growth of the district, and the refurbishment of the older schools.

The one school I visited there, looked more like a trailer park. I'll give them a "D-".

None of the above. Why does it matter anyway.

Good question, I'm curious as to how it it will affect those that are not supporting or supporting these items on the ballot and looking on the point of views of others. I have talked with both sides and each has merit. Do you think the foreclosure rate in our area will have any affect on the votes?

The redistricting should be beaten with no problems, plus if one district in the county votes it down it doesn't pass....the bond is another issue. I think the majority of the voters will pass the bond...the old guard simply don't have the numbers. I'm not sure what the foreclosure rate is, and how it would effect the vote.
