Default teaching/living in the area

I'm 24 and engaged. My fiance's job will most likely take her to the area. I have a secondary social studies teaching degree from a school in Michigan. We would only be there a year or two tops. What is the teaching job market like in the area? Ideally I would to teach at a good school and all but I know that may be asking too much but that's what would be nice. Is anyone in education that could help me out or lead me in the right direction. Or is there is anything I need to know about the area (housing, crime rates, cost of living, etc.) that would be a help too. I've already down some research on those topics but I'm struggling to find education information. Thanks so much for the help, I looked at some of the other threads but they were not much of a help.

First, where is your fiance's job located? This will determine where you should live...Phoenix is very spread out.

There are plenty of teaching jobs in Arizona (Sped, Math, Science) but most will require that you have an Arizona Credential before they will even consider you.

I would say that a high school teaching job in social studies will be hard to find because these jobs usually go to coaches.
