That's because most of Tucson is still a desert and not a half converted Florida.

I think it is because we got so much water this monsoon, is why they are so bad this year. This was the worst year I had seen. I called pinal county a couple times and each time they tested positive for west nile . I was sick for almost a month after being bit badly daily, and wonder if that is what I had.
I had un-exlained fevers, and muscle weakness , I bet you it was. They have calmed down here in AZ city m after the last spray they did. The first spray they did , did nothing because a large storm moved in the next day.
