Krispy Kreme? i thought they went under like, almost 2 years ago! The one at 35th Ave & 101 in the north valley did anyway... glad too... cuz i'm sure i could have gained a few extra pounds during my pregnancy if they HAD been open!

The franchise holder in AZ did go under, but someone else came in and opened just a few (maybe two? ) locations-- I know there is one in east Mesa, that may be the only one. It was the first to open/reopen. We will never see the number of stores there once were.

There is a Krispy Kreme drive through on the west side of the Paradise Valley Mall, and one on 7th Street and (Roosevelt?) that is a walk-in. I hit the drive through ocasionally for a 12 oz cofee for 25 cents.

Tried Krispy Kreme in Chicago once, and the donuts were adequate. A disappointment to me because I expected spectacular!

I ONLY like them when they are right off the belt; then one is a treat. Once they cool off, they are nothing special at all. I can get a better donut at Bashas'.
