And the reason Unions came into being was due to employer abuse. Sort of like where we are trending to right now. God willing, on Wednesday morning, a new dawn will occur. But that's for another thread
However, at least "this one" will be pro little guy.

You know your right! I could save about $9.35 a year on taxes if CPS did not exhist at all. Wouldn't that be great if we could all save a few bucks and many victimized children were just forgoton?
That was histories dumbest phrase!

Tell you what - If CPS will repay the costs of hiring lawyers to defend the innocent parents - then maybe - just maybe - I will look at CPS a little different -
How about you?

I myself have had CPS come into my home because I had a puppy poo on the floor and a neighbor seen it while borowing milk. Yes they do Blow things out of proportion but privatising them will not help matters. Having the goverment disregard the matter is also a bad idea.
Yes you are right and I will admit to it CPS causes family crisis from time to time. Just as their are casualties in war from time to time.

Right to work states, such as Arizona, will remain the same regardless of who is elected.

Well, this is true, which is why I refrained from mentioning the downside of CPS before. I came across a site called "fightcps dot com" or org. and read some interesting stuff.
CPS CAN ruin lives. It's true. However, CPS can also SAVE lives. Thing is, CPS would not be better served by being privatized. If anyone takes the time to go on that site you will see that there are people who believe CPS SELLS KIDS for profit.
Much better to have it under the state's control, all in all.

Well, thank you. You too I have two Shih tzu puppies right now who are not house-trained and Good Lord, CPS would cite me for sure. However, I don't have children, but still...they are puppies! They will do their business and I just clean up!

If you really have a advanced degree that is worth anyything ;I can't figure out why your looking at a part time position at all. Or why your stuck in what you call a crummy job.My guess is the degree is advanced but of limited opportunity.

No, it's an MBA. Now, if you consider that of limited opportunity...plus, I am bilingual.
See, some of us, at some point in our life question if we can help others. This does NOT apply to you. Oh, plus, I have money. Part-time is fine with me. I just want the benefits. If we ever get universal health care, I am SO out of the work force. Which is NOT to say I won't continue to volunteer, which I have done plenty of.
