I'm moving to a small apt complex in Mesa next week, & need suggestions/advice for low-priced services----such as cable & internet. I can't afford the move, but hey, I cannot endure another cold Kansas (Hell) winter!!! As for TV, is there much available over the air, or is cable absolutely necessary? What about internet access? The complex does not have wireless internet, unless I get lucky & pick-up a neighbor's link?!! I'm not too much of a techie, so I need all the help I can get!!!
I'm depending on craigslist for furniture, etc, also freecycle. I will be living on S Val Vista Dr, unless I stumble across a guest house or a better sublet in the nest few days....
Any advice would be much appreciated!
thanks!!!

for clothes and furniture- try thrift stores.
food- get store member cards so you could buy at weekly sales prices. shop locally and only buy sales items. use coupons when applicable. check out online coupons too.
tv- choices of channels of basic cable is worse than basic. if you like watching tv, you might need better pkg than basic for about $50 a month.
internet connection- if it is a basic need for you, you might need to pay about $50 a month for it.
phone- this is something you could save some $. check out magicjack.com and vonage.com. Skype.com is a possibility too.
