Default Mission Gate Condo

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the Mission Gate Condo community near Camelback Rd and 17th. It seems like a good neighborhood and close to the specrum mall. I would appreciate any input. Thank you!

I don't know the specific condos you have mentioned, but be prepared to hear people tell you the area is "ghetto." That's really quite an exaggeration, but proceed with caution and look it over carefully before making a decision. I'd consider the area transitional. It's in an area called Christown that had declined and is now beginning to come back due to transit-oriented development associated with the new light rail line.

We were in the area in August and it seemed decent to us. It seems to me people on here love to say places are ghetto without really knowing what a real ghetto is... I wonder what they would think of Oakland?

Hi,

Condos are being hit pretty hard by the market. Most had many investors. therefore, there is a lot of inventory and ones up for rent. I would make sure i was getting a great deal.

the other thing to check it the HOA fees. Many times they are very high and will kill you.

Stephen
