Hi. My family will be in the Phoenix area for a week and would like to take my son to the zoo there.. We will be staying closer to the Wildlife World Zoo but if the Phoenix Zoo is better I wouldn't mind making the extra trip.

They are both nice and different. The Phoenix Zoo is a lot more "formal" and manicured, while the Wildlife World Zoo is more natural and unpaved, a bit more "wild". Both are worth seeing.

I've got $2.00 off coupons for the Wildlife World Zoo if you want some.

I like the Wildlife World Zoo because you can get up close to all the animals, all the animals are close together for easy walking. The have a great kids playground, you can feed the giraffes right out of your hand. Love this zoo. I have buy one get one free if you would like it.

Default Wildlife zoo

I absolutely love the wildlife zoo. It is dirt so make sure your kids were grubby shoes. The white tigers are awesome. There are some baby ones there right now that you can watch play. There is also a cage where the jaguars can climb over you so they are directly above your head. You can feed the giraffes (but the food costs 50 cents so make sure you bring quarters). You can just get so much more up close and personal with the animals. There is a train ride that my boys absolutely love. There is a playground too. There are no elephants, that is the one drawback. My boys love elephants but they don't seem to care when they actually get to feed the giraffes.

The Phoenix zoo is huge and has way more animals but they are so hard to see. The playgrounds are much nicer. But for younger kids I think the wildlife zoo is the way to go.

Also, they only accept cash or check but they do have an ATM, it is just a pain because then you get charged all the fees.

Angie

I got your message and I'll put the discount coupons in the mail tomorrow. I also put some other coupons that I thought you might want.

When are you coming to Phoenix?? March is my favorite month. If it's the summer, bring LOTS of sunscreen.
