After a few oil changes in each of my three cars and one bike, I am running out of storage containers and need to dump some oil. Do any gas stations or repair shops take it here? Or is there a county facility that takes it?

most auto part stores have a place to dispose of the oil. so, your local checker, autozone, pep boys etc should have one and should not charge you for it.

If they sell it, they are suppose to recycle it. They make heating oil out of it.

It's the way we always got rid of our oil before the tree-huggers took over the state. That and dumping it in the desert (good for dust control BTW).

Ok, I'll call the local Auto Zone tomorrow before I head up there. I really hate carrying those full containers in my car.
