Default Phoenix is getting a new "super water park"??

Hey I came across this website the other day for a new water super park in Phonenix. Its called the Waveyard. The website claims that it will include the following:
-surfing
-white water rafting
-kayaking
-scuba diving
-snorkeling
-standing wave surfing
-wakeboarding
-boodie boarding
-climbing
-canyoneering
-zip lines
-sand beach
-concerts
-world class competitions
-volleyball
-indoor water park
-resort hotel
-resort villas
-conference center
-spa and wellness center
-aphitheater
-resteraunts
-retail shops
-office space
and residential

WOW, does anyone have anymore info on this project??? This is great news for the city of Phoenix. Of course one question I have is, Where are they getting all of this water??? check out the website, www.waveyard.com

Just think of all the things we'd have if all the goofy ideas that come up got turned into brick and mortar: worlds tallest building, water park, light rail....

Hey they were supposed to build that in Surprise. The east side gets all the fun. (At least on paper anyway.)

Are they going to still build it while in an economic downturn?

Better off on the East Side. Places like that attract crime. See Magic Mountain in Santa Clarita.

Waste of resources (money and water). I cant imagine how much water would be needed to complete that and make up for all the daily evaporation. Yikes.
