Default Free site to tell you your property value

Not all of Phoenix is dropping. Ok, I should qualify this by saving I live in Scottsdale, not Phoenix. I am pleased to say my property has gone up by anywhere from 62K to $135K in the past few years (after the fall) Check it out. No forms to fill out. Just plug in your address.

Stuff like Zillow, etc. can be useful tools, but do not rely on them for up to date accuracy. I put my last suburban Phoenix house on your link and its "value range" is 20 to 25% over the current list price of several comparable houses in the same subdivision.

If those ever sell, they will bring those comps down further, but that takes time. Nobody in their right mind would pay $250K when a similar model in the same subdivision is asking $180K.

Yeah, our estimated value is rather high for what the comps in the neighborhood are going for. No serious investor would purchase our condo for 116k wfen a single family detached home a block away can get snagged up for 130k.

Still a useful tool, and it makes me feel better that there's some data out there that shows that we're not upside down on our property.

recent comps they have listed there for my neighborhood as early as Oct 08 show the home values to be on target with what the site had for my house, they are higher then I expected
