Did you put the heat on in your house yet?
I am trying to save money as much as I can, but I am COLD in the morning and have extra blankies on the bed too. My little portable heater isn't enough ! Wish I had a fireplace....

I have not turned the heat on yet, this winter, but last winter, did not use the furnace (heat pump) at all for heating. I purchased (Lowes) 2 "electric" fireplaces, with mantle, realistic looking flames, for @ $400.00 each, one in my living room, one in my bedroom (and a much smaller and less expensive wood stove model) in my guest room, and that has provided all of the heating necessary. Saved a bunch of $$ on heating costs, and just love the ambiance of it.

No, not yet, because it's not cold enough yet in the house.
It gets down to about 71-72 at night in the house but with the down comforter, it's actually kind of hot when I sleep.
The crappier thing is that we are still using the A/C now and then, it kicked on yesterday because it's set at 78 and the temp in the house rose above that.

We used it first time today - for 1/2 hour. It was 63 in the house and that is too cold. Can't wait for June!

No way. We still sleep with the window open just a little. Do not want to let this cold air go to waste. June can wait.

No. It is PERFECT right now! It is cool enough to where the air conditioner doesn't need to kick on, and not cold enough to turn on the heat, I love it! I can't wait to see how low our electricity bill will be this month.

Get a fleece blanket. Something that is made for heat. We haven't turned on our heater yet or ever will. We love the fact that we don't have to turn on the A/C
