How's the area right next to Mesquite Jr High School in Gilbert? Looking for info on whether there's any issues with vandalism/crime etc so near the school....

We're looking at a house that pretty much backs up to the school so I'm curious if there's anything beyond the "typical" issues of living near a school......

To let other viewers of this query know, Gilbert was written about in the news last week saying that it is one of the safest cities in the United States. I am unaware of any crime patterns in the area you plan to move to. Here is the write up in the Nov. 24, 2009, Gilbert REPUBLIC:

Gilbert one of safest cities in the country, study says

Gilbert is one of the safest cities in the United States, according to an analysis by a Washington-based publisher.

CQ Press ranked the town 24th in its 2009 review of national crime rates. Surprise came in at 27.
