I too am 1/2 Egyptian! One of my best friends immigrated from Egypt and she was classified as Black. I am older so I was classified as coloured, but I have been classified as white, black, and mixed race.

Maybe Phoenix needs to start offering incentives to get alot of em to move there from such successful diverse cities as Detroit, Newark, East St Louis, Wash DC., etc., etc

I do have a solution. Maybe we could advertise in black communities that the Phoenix area quota is far from full and that the community is taking applications for any that want to move to the area. The city could pay for commercials to run on BET that would invite African Americans to the area.
Let nature run its course. People will go where they want to.

Have you ever seen a Picture of Jesus with Arabic coloring? Supposedly religious people have always fascinated me. Ask a "Christian" if a Senator or Congressman should have the right to be sworn in on a Koran or a Torah if you want to see an interesting reaction. They can't seem to understand the concept of 'freedom of religion' that this country was founded on.

Most Egyptians in the United States are not muslim or speak arabic. Most of us are here because of the muslims taking over Egypt. I am a member of the Chuch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I did not mean to imply that you were any particular religion. I was simply stating an observation. If that was insulting to you, I apologize.

Maybe the reason why Blacks do not move to Arizona in large numbers is because they do not want to live in a state that has so many Republicans/Conservatives. When Blacks leave the South they usually want to move to a more leftwing liberal state like New York, Illinois, Michigan, and California.
